CONDITIONS ATTACHED TO THE GRANT OF THIS LICENCE
This licence is granted subject to any Mandatory Conditions imposed by the Licensing Act 2003, Embedded Conditions carried across on conversion of your previously held Justices Licence, Conditions Converted from any previously held Public Entertainments Licence, Conditions volunteered on the application form to be undertaken by the applicant and where necessary, Conditions imposed by the Licensing Authority in order to promote the Licensing Objectives.
1. Mandatory Conditions:
a No supply of alcohol may be made under the Premises Licence at a time when there is no Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) in respect of the Premises Licence OR at a time when the Designated Premises Supervisor does not hold a Personal Licence or his/her Personal Licence has been suspended.
b Every supply of alcohol under the Premises Licence must be made or authorized by a person who holds a Personal Licence.
c Any Door Security staff employed to carry out a security activity at the premises must be licensed with the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
d. In respect of the exhibition of films as mentioned below:
1 The admission of children to the exhibitions of any film is restricted as follows:
2 Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless 3(b) below applies, the admission of children is restricted in accordance with any recommendation of that body.
3 Where:-
(a) the film classification body is not specified in this licence, or
(b) the licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this subsection applies to the film in question,
the admission of children is restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by the licensing authority.
4 In relation to the above:
“children” means persons under the age of 18 years; and
“film classification body” means the persons or person designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984.
Appendix 1
Prevention of Crime & Disorder
1. The Designated Premises Supervisor, when present, and all members of staff shall ensure that
all lawful instructions and/or directions given by the police are complied with.
2. Persons who appear to be under the age of 18 years shall be required to produce proof of
age by way of a recognised proof of age card accredited under the Proof of Age Standards
Scheme (PASS) or if a proof of age card is not available a photo driving licence, passport or
accredited student card.
3. There shall be displayed at the entrance to the premises a sign which is clearly visible to
members of the public visiting those premises containing details of the trading hours under the
premise licence.
Appendix 2
Conditions relating to Public Safety
1. All exits and escape routes to those exits (including external escape routes) from the premise
shall be provided with non-slip even surfaces and shall be maintained in good repair, correct
correct working order and kept free from all obstructions when the public are on the premises.
External escape routes shall also be kept free from ice and snow.
2. Clear and unobstructed access shall be available to the premises for use by the emergency
services and emergency service vehicles at all times.
3. There shall be maintained on the premises at all times an adequate and appropriate supply of
first aid equipment and materials.
Appendix 3
Conditions relating to Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. No light from or on the premises and any other light under the control of the premises shall be
provided where that light causes a nuisance to any nearby premises unless it is considered
necessary by the local police force to prevent crime and disorder.
Appendix 4
Conditions relating to Protection of children from Harm
1. Persons who appear to be under the age of 18 years shall be required to produce proof of
age by way of a recognised proof of age card accredited under the Proof of Age Standards
Scheme (PASS) or if proof of age card is not available a photo driving licence, passport or
accredited student card.
Appendix B
Conditions
1 No regulated entertainment shall take place outside the premises after 2200 hours save for any special event of which ten working days notice of which must be given to the police and licensing authority.
2 All emergency lighting, fire exits, fire safety equipment including fire alarms, electrical and gas installations should be regularly checked to ensure they are properly maintained and in good working order.
