Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
1/ The premises are to operate an effective CCTV system which is to be maintained in good working order at all times the premises is open for business. The recording medium (e.g. discs / tapes / hard drive etc.) and associated images are to be retained and securely stored for a minimum period of 28 days and are to be made available to the Police & Authorised Officers of the licensing Authority upon request. The premises licence holder is to ensure that a responsible person who is trained and able to operate the CCTV system so that at the expense of the premises licence holder, they are able to check that the equipment is operating properly and that they are able to provide copies of recorded data upon request and if not immediately within 12 hours of the said request.
On an annual basis the premise CCTV system shall be checked and maintained to any recognised specification and is kept in working order.
2/ A written record shall be kept every time images are recorded by CCTV and shall include details of the recording medium used, the time and date recording commenced and finished. This record shall identify the person responsible for the recording and shall be signed by him / her. Where the recording is on a removable medium (i.e. videotape, compact disc, flash card etc.) A secure storage system to store those recording mediums shall be provided.
3/ No person in possession of an alcoholic drink in an unsealed container shall be allowed to enter the premises.
4/ Prominent clear and legible notices must be displayed at all exits requesting that customers respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly.
5/ The management and staff are to use their best endeavours to prevent persons loitering outside the premises and to ensure that persons refused entry or ejected are asked to leave the vicinity of the premises, If it is safe to do so.
6/ Where the premises provide food to the public for consumption OFF the premises there shall be provided at or near the exit, [ONE] waste bin to enable the disposal of waste food, food containers, wrappings, bottles & cans etc.
7/ Where the premises provide food for consumption off the premises, the public area immediately surrounding the premises shall be cleared of waste food, food containers, wrappings, bottles & cans etc, at the end of trading on each day. Such refuse shall be placed in a container designed for the storage and disposal of refuse and waste foods.
8/ No refuse shall be collected or disposed of from the premises between the hours of (10pm and 8am) where such disposal or collection is likely to cause disturbance to the local residents.
9/ No person under the age of 16 yrs. shall be permitted to remain on the premises after 11pm unless they are accompanied with an appropriate adult.
10/ Staff training shall take place when employment commences and every six months regarding the safety of young people. A written record of this training is to be maintained and made available to the police and authorised officer of the Licensing Authority on request
