General – all four licensing objectives
Maintain safety and cleanliness inside and outside the premises, making sure it is clean and safe. Any issues or causes of concern, straight away alert the council. Ensure there is no nuisance, no loudness is emitted. Be in contact with police, and fire and rescue should issues arise when they are needed.
The prevention of crime and disorder
Not allow any disorder to take place, ring police and alert auditories in case such a situation arises. Ensure that any issue is resolved straight away and not let it enrage. Put up and remind customers to remain in an orderly fashion, and adhere to the rules in order to keep everyone safe. There is also car park and park CCTV which will aid ensuring the surrounding premises is overlooked and kept safe.
Public safety
Ensure the premises has posters to keep customers aware should an incident such as slippery floor become apparent and be a danger to a person. Keep the surrounding area clean and remove debris that maybe present and pose as a risk to safety. Any items will be discarded such as empty bottles or litter from the nearby park.
The prevention of public nuisance
Not allow any nuisance, alert authorities. Have poster outside and inside reminding customers to act in a accordingly, not allowing those who may pose a threat inside. Also labeling where entrance,exit is to allow the movement should the front become crowded.
The protection of children from harm
Make sure the inside and outside of premises is safe and nothing dangerous is present which may present a risk or harm. Making sure all edges, seats, steps are safe and easy for children to use. Not allowing smoking, drinking inside especially in the presence of children. Staff are easily identifiable, should a child need to speak to a member of staff. As open kitchen, children will be safe from the kitchen due to counter-top preventing access or getting close to the cooker.
