Conditions from Greater Manchester Police:
To prevent crime and disorder
1. The premise is to operate an effective CCTV system which is to be maintained in good working order at all times the premises is open for business. The recording medium (e.g. discs / tapes / hard drive etc) and associated images are to be retained and securely stored for a minimum period of 28 days and are to be made available to the police / Authorised Officers of the Licensing Authority upon request. The premises is to ensure at least two members of staff (or other trusted person(s) who are trained and familiar with the operation of the equipment so that, at the expense of the premises licence holder, they are able to check that the equipment is operating properly and that they are able to provide copies of recorded data upon request and within no more than 12 hours from the time of the request in line with Data Protection.
2. On an annual basis the premises is to ensure that the CCTV system is checked & maintained to any recognised specification and shown to be in working order.
3. No person in possession of an alcoholic drink in a unsealed container shall be allowed to enter the premises except for the purposes of delivery or from moving from one part of the premises to another.
To prevent public nuisance
4. Prominent, clear and legible notices must be displayed at all exits requesting that customers respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly.
5. Management and staff are to use their best endeavours to prevent persons loitering outside the premises and to ensure that persons refused entry or ejected are asked to leave the vicinity of the premises.
6. No Refuse shall be disposed of or collected from the premises between the hours of (9pm & 8am) where such disposal or collection is likely to cause disturbance to local residents.
7. Where the premises provide food to the public for consumption off the premises there shall be provided at or near the exits, [ONE] waste bins to enable the disposal of waste food, food containers, disposable wrappings etc.
8. Where the premises provide food for consumption off the premises, the public area immediately surrounding the premises shall be cleared of waste food, food containers, disposable wrappings etc. at the end of trading on each day.
The protection of children from harm
19. No person under the age of 16 yrs. shall be permitted to remain on the premises after 11pm unless they are accompanied with an appropriate adult.
210. Staff training shall take place when employment commences and every six months regarding the safety of young people. A written record of this training is to be maintained and made available to the police and authorised officer of the Licensing Authority on request
