CONDITIONS ATTACHED TO THE GRANT OF THIS LICENCE
This licence is granted subject to any Mandatory Conditions imposed by the Licensing Act 2003, Embedded Conditions carried across on conversion of your previously held Justices Licence, Conditions Converted from any previously held Public Entertainments Licence, Conditions volunteered on the application form to be undertaken by the applicant and where necessary, Conditions imposed by the Licensing Authority in order to promote the Licensing Objectives.
1. Mandatory Conditions:
a No supply of alcohol may be made under the Premises Licence at a time when there is no Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) in respect of the Premises Licence OR at a time when the Designated Premises Supervisor does not hold a Personal Licence or his/her Personal Licence has been suspended.
b Every supply of alcohol under the Premises Licence must be made or authorized by a person who holds a Personal Licence.
c Any Door Security staff employed to carry out a security activity at the premises must be licensed with the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
d. In respect of the exhibition of films as mentioned below:
1 The admission of children to the exhibitions of any film is restricted as follows:
2 Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless 3(b) below applies, the admission of children is restricted in accordance with any recommendation of that body.
3 Where:-
(a) the film classification body is not specified in this licence, or
(b) the licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this subsection applies to the film in question,
the admission of children is restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by the licensing authority.
4 In relation to the above:
“children” means persons under the age of 18 years; and
“film classification body” means the persons or person designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984.
Appendix A
Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 The management to ensure staff are continually trained in relation to the licensing objectives and requirements of the Licensing Act 2003.
2 All emergency lighting, fire exits, escape routes, fire safety equipment including fire alarms, electrical and gas installations should be regularly checked to ensure that they are properly maintained and in good working order.
3 CCTV system to be maintained and tapes to be safely retained for a minimum period of 28 days for viewing purposes by the authorities, including the police.
4 When amplified music or entertainment takes place all external windows and doors should be closed save for entrance and exit purposes.
5 Music and noise should not be audible inside noise sensitive property at any time and noise levels should be regularly checked to prevent any nuisance to residents in the vicinity. Any complaint should be monitored and investigated and action taken where necessary.
6 As licence holders assessments shall be made of noise coming from the premises on
every occasion the premises are used for entertainment and steps taken to reduce noise levels where disturbance is caused. A log book will be kept.
7 All children under the age of 16 shall vacate the premises by 8pm unless it is a private function.
8 Proof of identity/age should be required and satisfied before allowing a person(s) who appear may be under 21 years of age to purchase/consume alcohol.
9 Patrons capacity in premises not to exceed 120.
10 Monitor capacity with "clickers", to be recorded every hour.
This book must be available for inspection at anytime by an authorised person.
11 To keep "Door Book", which will contain:-
Door supervisor's name and full badge number.
Door supervisor's to sign on and off duty.
12 Main double doors to be closed at 02.30hrs and operate only on a single door.
13 Operate "Over 21's" policy.
Conditions imposed by a Hearing Panel
1. A telephone to be located behind the staff area for the use of staff to summon police or other emergency services.
2. An additional CCTV monitor to be installed behind the bar to enable live images to be viewed of the landing area.
