Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
1. A member of staff will be on site during all functions.
2. Staff will be trained with particular regard to crime prevention measures appropriate to the premises.
3. The centre is alarmed and linked to a security firm.
4. Regular meetings will be held with staff who are to present at events to discuss any issues or concerns.
5. The premises will comply with all statutory fire safety controls and appropriate risk assessments will be carried out. Regular electrical and gas safety checks will also be carried out.
6. Procedures will be set up for emergencies including calling of the emergency services.
7. Music and associated sources (e.g. DJ's and amplified voices) shall not be generally audible inside noise sensitive property at any time. A member of staff is to carry out noise level checks of the surrounding outside area whenever entertainment is being provided.
8. All external doors and windows are to be kept closed when live entertainment or recorded music is in progress.
9. Measures to be taken to ensure customers leave the premises quietly and minimise the disturbance to residents in the area e.g. signage to be placed at the entrance.
10. Members of staff to wear ID badges so that they are easily identifiable so that they can be approached by children, parents, carers etc for assistance.
11. Staff prioritise safeguarding measures and are committed to their enforcement.
12. Staff to be aware of children who are out of sight of their parent/carer.
13. All staff to have safeguarding awareness training.
