CONDITIONS ATTACHED TO THE GRANT OF THIS LICENCE
This licence is granted subject to any Mandatory Conditions imposed by the Licensing Act 2003, Embedded Conditions carried across on conversion of your previously held Justices Licence, Conditions Converted from any previously held Public Entertainments Licence, Conditions volunteered on the application form to be undertaken by the applicant and where necessary, Conditions imposed by the Licensing Authority in order to promote the Licensing Objectives.
1. Mandatory Conditions:
a No supply of alcohol may be made under the Premises Licence at a time when there is no Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) in respect of the Premises Licence OR at a time when the Designated Premises Supervisor does not hold a Personal Licence or his/her Personal Licence has been suspended.
b Every supply of alcohol under the Premises Licence must be made or authorized by a person who holds a Personal Licence.
c Any Door Security staff employed to carry out a security activity at the premises must be licensed with the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
d. In respect of the exhibition of films as mentioned below:
1 The admission of children to the exhibitions of any film is restricted as follows:
2 Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless 3(b) below applies, the admission of children is restricted in accordance with any recommendation of that body.
3 Where:-
(a) the film classification body is not specified in this licence, or
(b) the licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this subsection applies to the film in question,
the admission of children is restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by the licensing authority.
4 In relation to the above:
“children” means persons under the age of 18 years; and
“film classification body” means the persons or person designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984.
Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 An effective and adequate CCTV system will be installed and maintained and operated at the premises. All CCTV images will be kept in an unedited format for a period of 28 days and made available to the police upon request.
2 A panic alarm system will be installed and maintained at the premises.
3 Clear and prominent notices will be displayed stating that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
4 Notices highlighting the danger of drinking and driving will be prominently displayed.
5 No alcohol will be dispensed unless it is in a sealed container.
6 The premises will be cleaned on a regular basis and remain free from debris and litter.
7 Effective lighting inside and outside the premises will be maintained.
8 Regular fire assessments will be carried out.
9 Staff will ensure that alcohol is not supplied to any customer who has consumed excessive alcohol.
10 Staff will not permit groups to congregate inside or outside the premises.
11 Management and staff will ensure that noise from the premises will not cause nuisance.
12 Customers who appear to be under the age of 21 and attempt to purchase alcohol will be asked to provide satisfactory proof of age identification. Such identification to comply with the pass scheme accreditation system.
13 Staff will be fully trained in relation to the sale of alcohol and age restricted products. Quarterly documented knowledge checks to be implemented.
14 Staff to be trained to be vigilant against persons over the age of 18 seeking to purchase alcohol for a person who is underage. A till prompt system will be introduced to remind staff of obligations for all sales of age sensitive items.
15 All staff will be supervised when serving alcohol until confident they are challenging those who appear to be under 21, asking for and checking identity and completing the refusals book.
16 A refusal of sale log will be maintained and made available to the responsible body.
